A Poem For The 21st Century

Think positively, and good things will happen. Stop worrying about the negative and start appreciating the good ; for you don't know how much beauty in this world if you're blinded with hatred and wrath.

Always speak the truth and nothing but the truth. Words can hurt or words can inspire,
be guided with the words you say; for your character will be defined on it.

Let them love you for yourself. Do not sway to other's pattern of perfection. Love yourself, bind yourself, create yourself and they will transpire.

Be contended on who you are, not what you are. Do not follow greed and its foolish ways. Be careful of the evil things in this world. Be intelligent with the things you do and follow excellence and let it shape you.

Do not judge people by their stories; for they are right in their own perspective. Listen and understand them; for the mindless, ignorant and lazy are heroes in there own stories.

Respect other beliefs and they will respect you back. Do not taunt their Gods and culture but let it change your view in this world; for you have your own perspective and they have theirs, see the world differently by respect and you will gain wisdom in return.

Always remember that life will change you. You will be broken and you will fix yourself repeatedly but the more times you fix yourself, the more you are unbreakable. So let life break you, destroy you, swallow you, hurt you, and betray you.

Make an effort to make peace with everyone. Your soul deserves peace because peace eradicates the noises of life. Understand that this world is full of sins and broken things, but this world is still beautiful. With everything this world has to offer, find happiness.

Don't Take Her For Granted

She is perfect for you. She'll always be there for you to be your number one fan. She'll always be your source of inspiration and motivation, she'll always be the one that you can always call when you're feeling lonely. For the million lovely things that she had done for you, why are you taking her for granted?

Start treating her right and show her off. Always look at her like Flynn looks at Rapunzel. Hold her hand and kiss her in front of your friends. Be glad that you have her in your life because the littlest things you do mean to her a lot.

Love her with all your heart. Bury your heart to her and she will grow roses above it. She is different from all the girls you've met. You are lucky to have her because she controls you with her inner angel and tolerates your outer demons. You are lucky to hug her and kiss her every time you want. You have the secret to love, every time you hug her. Isn't it funny that the greatest secrets are hidden in unlikely places?

Treat her right. She is beautiful and angelic. A lot of guys want her and you should be aware of that. You have what they pray for at night: a diamond in the rough that you take for granted. It's time to love her with all your soul, it's time to treat her with love in the spaces that you have missed. Always make her feel loved, and you will never see her frown.

Imagine this: One day, you'll see her down the streets happy while holding another guy's hand. You'll see her treating him with the things she did to you before. She won't even notice you while you're staring at her because she's busy laughing with the jokes he makes. It will break your heart seeing her with him not because you aren't happy for her but because you were blind when she was happy with you. Seeing everything will make you realize that you are not the reason why she's happy anymore. And it will finally hit you like a truck that you need her more than she needs you; that it's her, it's always her.

Alive

Dear Reader, 

 I really can't understand on how people just wake up one morning and just decide to lose their feelings to their love ones. It's something that I really can't explain. They lead you on and from that moment you will feel attached. They are inspiration in everything. They will be a normal habit that you cannot just "ignore"  because they make you happy and you can never ignore happiness. They will make reasons like this and like that but the truth is that if you really like someone there are no "buts" and you'll risk it all. You will risk everything and you will take the fall. The outcome of that scenario will lead to two things: to be happy or to get hurt. 

If you risk it, you can be happy. It starts in the morning where you receive their texts. And somehow you don't need coffee for you to feel alive in the mornings. You'll just feel alive with one simple text message. You are inspired to breathe and survive a day because they are there for you. Maybe not physically but emotionally they are present in your heart and mind. They will be your inspiration in everything. When I say everything I mean everything you do because they will know a side of your life that you don't usually talk to other people. With that, they become a daily routine that you are really happy to do everyday. You are constantly thanking God for meeting them and praying for your blessings in life. Especially them. And they will never fail to amaze you with the things they do. And you are constantly charmed in everything they say. It's like everyday there is something new that makes you love them more than yesterday.

If you risk it, you can be sad.  They will still be a daily routine. It's like a get to know each other stage. With that you will feel happy. But for only a meanwhile. But when the rising action falls, you will feel alone. They will just get cold to you and you will be sad.  You will try your best to restore "what's normal" but it will never be normal again. You'll just want to be happy again. You will just want to wake up one morning not missing them. You will try to ignore that by doing other things like a hobby or your studies but in the night, you will over-think about scenarios if they miss you like you miss them or do they even think about you and feel the sadness that you are feeling. It will be hard to move on but you will learn.

Never be scared to take risks. Because that is life. It's all about taking risks, to choose paths and to learn. But  a wise tip: Never love them will all of your heart and body. Because when they get cold and leave you, you will feel lost. Like you don't know what do anymore in life.  But I am not encouraging you not to love because love is beautiful. It's the building foundation of everything nice and beautiful here on Earth. Just be cautious on who are trying to have your heart. But when they do capture your heart, they should never really stop trying everyday to make you feel that you are lucky and blessed that you are live.

Valentines Day

I am back. I don't really know why but I am inspired to write a blog about Valentines Day.... Well to help you guys, I'm gonna tell you the story of Valentines day. It was during the reign of the Roman Empire. Christianity was banned and Christians were tortured at that time. So sacraments of Christianity were highly illegal so if you get caught, you'll get tortured and you will die. So there was a guy named St. Valentine. He believed that the power of love can overcome anything so he then marries Christians secretly. Maybe in catacombs or in secret hideouts. So then he got caught and he became a martyr for believing in love and his faith. 

Now, people living today use Valentines as a way to show their love for their mate. They buy them flowers, they buy them big teddy bears and they buy them chocolates. They use one night to show them that they will love them unconditionally in one night. But here I am questioning all of the people who only use February 14 to actually show that they care. 


Bro, if you do love her, you won't just use one day to actually show to her that you care for her. Show to her that you will love her unconditionally and show to her that you care for her. You shouldn't just be a gentleman for one night, you should always be a gentleman whenever she's around. You know? Open doors for her, etc-etc. Show to her that she means to you more than she knows. Make little efforts from time to time, or surprise her. It's easy to say all of these things but it's hard to do. But if you really really like her, nothing can block your path.



If you're actually single this Valentines, don't worry. You'll get your chance soon. So just go with the flow. Here's my advice though, you don't have to be bitter that you don't have a date. Valentine's day isn't just about a girlfriend or a boyfriend. It's about love. You can share your love to your friends and family! So stop bitter tweeting about it and just show your love to your family and friends. 


I'm getting off topic but if you truly love someone, you wouldn't just use one day to prove it. You must love that person 365 days. One of everyday you did, you do and you will love that person. Because you must feel that whenever that person is around, it's always Valentines Day.

Perfect Match

Dear Reader,

No one is perfect. You are not perfect and you should know too that he is not perfect either. But you should realize that he makes you laugh all the time whenever you're sad or lonely that helps you to think either. And if he efforts in talking to you and admits that he's only a human being, never let him go. Give a piece of your heart to him and let him take care of it. And if you let him sink in that he has your heart, which will require patience. He will think about you everyday, he will retweet really lovey-dubey tweets on his Twitter account, he will put romantic statuses on Facebook and even post pictures of sweet things on Instagram. And in that moment, he will give you a part of him that he knows that you will never give up in. Just don't give up on him. Don't just say "you give up" because of simple fights because giving up is not worth it. If you're mad, be mad at him. If you're sad, tell him. And most importantly, if you miss him, call him and say you miss him. Enjoy every bit and enjoy every moment when you guys are together. Love exist in happiness. I said earlier that there are no perfect guys but there's always one guy that is perfect for you.

The Leap

Dear Reader,

This reflection is about regrets and chances. Let me tell you a story about my 2012. It's like A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickins. You know the 3 ghosts that changed Scrooge right? It's almost Christmas so it's  the novel so well uhm, Well here's my story.

This year started perfectly. Love, money and happiness are in me. Because at that time I met a girl and I was   rich because it was after Christmas. And happy because of the two. Then last February it all ended, the money and love. It broke my heart and my wallet. I was lonely but more than that, I was broken. I was literally sad because I tried to change because before met her I was a jerk. I was such a jerk that I beat up one guy somewhere. But I wanted to change. Cut all this because this is not important because my next story is more important than this, she decided to end it blah blah blah and the rest is history. This is the ghost of Christmas past

I was sad and lonely then I met her. She was the highlight of my year. She was a game changer.   I know it's crazy but for a minute there the clocks stopped and I asked to myself "I think I'm in love" and it goes on through all summer. I think I told her story right? Where I changed my sleeping habits just to talk to her because she lives 8092.00 kilometers away from me so our timezones hate each other and when I didn't go out to party and drink with my friends because I was busy writing her letters because since I changed my clock, I was like a vampire, sleeping in the morning and sucking blood in the night. So like every day I write her letters which inspired me to create blogs and that's why you're all reading this and the rest is history. This is the ghost of Christmas present.

Now my friend helped me to realize that the universe is telling me that it's not our time and I respect that because  if two people are meant to be together eventually they will find their way back right? Well I think to forget everything about her I must concentrate on everything that will make me a better man for the future. But when a door is closed a window opens. Now there's this girl. She may not be a game changer but she makes everything just so awesome. I think I like her but not love her  but every time I talk to this girl, my heart is jumping for joy. Anyways I don't know what to do. But it's possible that she may have feelings for me too. But I'm scared because I don't know where this could lead. We're both broken and I know that two wrongs never make a right. And what if she breaks my heart? Is this really worth pursuing? This is the ghost of Christmas future.

You see my good friends it's not easy it looks to be. It's like you're thinking if you should continue to read the book or just close it. And maybe in another time you can read it again until you finish it and decide to read a book again or never to read again. Just like Scrooge, the ghost of Christmas past and the ghost of Christmas past helped me to realize that life is amazing to be sad. It helped me through the years and now, I think I'm wise enough to fight 2013's problems. And you know what? It's telling me to follow the ghost of my Christmas future. 

This was the year that I was broken hearted, the year that I beat up a guy really bad, the year that I met a game changer who changed me and then left me hanging and damnit this year was one the best years of my life.  Because if any one of those things hadn't happen, I never would have ended up meeting possible "the one?" But I don't know because I'm still young. I want to cherish my teenage years first but with her. As far as you know, my story is just beginning. So this is my new year's resolution for next year, 2013. Take the leap. No matter what take the leap. It maybe worth a try but it's worth the squeeze. You may fail but you will earn wisdom and you may be successful and earn success. And you what? There comes a time when you have to choose between turning the page or just closing the book.... And I am choosing to turn the page more.
